Who We Are
I began my journey planning to pursue a career in medicine, driven by a desire to help people heal and live healthier lives. Along the way, I became deeply interested in understanding how the body is designed to function and, more importantly, how it has an incredible, innate ability to restore balance and health through God-given processes.
Chiropractic care resonated with me because it aligns with this belief—that the body is intelligent, resilient, and capable of healing when it is supported rather than overridden. I was drawn to an approach to healthcare that focuses on removing interference, restoring proper movement and function, and allowing the body to do what it was designed to do.
Today, my goal is to provide thoughtful, individualized chiropractic care that respects the body’s natural ability to heal. I am passionate about serving families of all ages and creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, cared for, and supported.
As a local chiropractor, I have a deep love for this community. My practice is rooted in building genuine relationships, supporting long-term wellness, and helping Montgomery County families stay active, healthy, and connected.

“Honoring the Legacy of Dr. Lawrence Michael “Larry” Bridge”
Our story
Montgomery County Chiropractic carries a name rooted in the life and vision of its founder, Dr. Lawrence Michael Bridge — a man whose impact reached far beyond county lines. Though our clinic now serves the community from Stanly County, its name remains a tribute to Dr. Bridge’s original mission: to provide compassionate, skilled chiropractic care to the people of both Montgomery and Stanly Counties. It is a name that reflects his dedication, his reach, and the thousands of lives he touched.
Dr. Bridge opened Montgomery County Chiropractic Center shortly after earning his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life College in 1996. For nearly three decades, his healing hands brought relief, comfort, and renewed quality of life to countless patients. He built this practice on warmth, humor, generosity, and a genuine love for helping others — values that continue to guide the clinic today.
Beyond his work as a chiropractor, Larry was a storyteller at heart. His passion for antiques and the history they carried led him to open Market Station Antiques, where he shared his discoveries and built friendships with collectors near and far. Whether in the clinic or the antique shop, he had a gift for making people feel seen, welcomed, and cared for.
Dr. Bridge was deeply devoted to his family — a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and “Pop Pop.” His presence, laughter, and kindness are missed every day, but his spirit lives on in the community he served and in the practice he built.
Montgomery County Chiropractic continues in his honor, carrying forward the legacy of service, compassion, and connection that defined Dr. Larry Bridge’s life.

Common issues seen in our office
Low back discomfort is often related to joint restriction, muscle tension, postural strain, or everyday stress on the spine. Chiropractic adjustments and soft tissue techniques may help support spinal mobility, reduce muscle tension, and improve movement patterns, which can contribute to increased comfort and function.
Neck pain may be associated with posture, prolonged sitting, stress, or repetitive movements. Chiropractic care may help by supporting joint motion in the cervical spine, reducing surrounding muscle tension, and encouraging healthier posture and movement habits.
Some headaches are related to tension in the neck, shoulders, and upper back while some may be from other issues such as nerve irritation. Chiropractic care may help support spinal motion and reduce soft tissue tension/irritation in these areas, which can play a role in decreasing the frequency or intensity of headaches for some individuals.
Active individuals often experience strains, sprains, or overuse injuries. Chiropractic care may help support recovery by improving joint motion, addressing soft tissue restrictions, and encouraging proper movement mechanics to reduce strain and support performance.
Conditions listed are commonly seen in our office. Individual results vary, and no guarantee of outcome is made. Chiropractic care is not a substitute for medical care when indicated.
Chiropractic Care During Pregnancy
Pregnancy brings incredible changes to the body as it adapts to support your growing baby. As posture shifts, ligaments soften, and the center of gravity changes, many women experience increased stress on the spine and pelvis. Chiropractic care focuses on supporting proper alignment and nervous system function during this time of change.
Gentle, pregnancy-specific chiropractic adjustments are designed to help the body move and adapt more comfortably. Many expectant mothers seek chiropractic care to support pelvic balance, improve overall comfort, and promote optimal movement throughout pregnancy. Care is always tailored to each stage of pregnancy and performed using techniques and positioning designed specifically for prenatal patients.
Our goal is to help you feel more balanced, supported, and comfortable so you can focus on enjoying this special season of life.
How Chiropractic Care May Support Children & Infants
Growth & Development Support
As children grow, their bodies undergo constant physical changes. Gentle chiropractic care may help support proper joint motion, posture, and movement patterns during key stages of growth. By addressing areas of tension or restriction, chiropractic care may help the nervous and musculoskeletal systems function more efficiently as the body develops.
Posture & Movement Habits
Modern activities such as schoolwork, screen time, backpacks, and sports can place stress on a child’s spine and muscles. Chiropractic care may help support healthy posture, balance, and coordination while encouraging proper movement habits early in life.
Colic & Digestive Comfort in Infants
Some families seek chiropractic care for infants experiencing excessive crying, tension, or digestive discomfort. Gentle techniques may help reduce tension in the spine and surrounding tissues, which can support relaxation, comfort, and overall ease in infants. Care is always extremely light and adapted specifically for babies.
Latching & Feeding Support
Feeding challenges can sometimes be associated with tension in the neck, jaw, or upper body. Chiropractic care may help support mobility and comfort in these areas, which may contribute to improved ease with latching and feeding when used as part of a collaborative care approach.
Sleep & Comfort
Tension or discomfort in growing bodies can impact rest. Chiropractic care may help support relaxation and comfort, which some families find beneficial for sleep routines.
All pediatric chiropractic care is supportive in nature and does not replace medical care when indicated. Individual responses to care vary, and no specific outcomes are guaranteed.
